1000 employees.
1 million tyres produced in 2015.
42, the average employee age.
These are some of the key figures of the Michelin factory in Spinetta Marengo (Alessandria), which recently celebrated its 45th anniversary.
Amapola helped to mark this important milestone with the production of an institutional video for in-house use, “starring” the factory workers.
The aim was to give a voice to the people who contribute passion and sacrifice to the company on a daily basis, and experience the pride of belonging to a major organisation that attaches importance not only to economic targets but to values such as caring for people and their families (with a company welfare program), creating a group and teamwork to achieve objectives.

Directed by Stefano Belviglieri and coordinated by Sergio Vazzoler, videomakers Lucio Laugelli and Errico D’Andrea, with drone operator Danilo Rossini, made a welcome video for the factory’s two-day open doors event on 23 – 24 September.

The first day was for authorities and former employees, the second for the families of the company workforce, who had the opportunity to visit the factory and take part in meetings, exhibitions and other initiatives, with activities even for the youngest visitors.
And there was a surprise for all the factory workers. For one day, the kitchens of the company canteen were taken over by chef Antonino Canavacciuolo, who presented a range of tempting delicacies made with local produce, and put everyone in a festive mood with his trademark bearhugs.

We made a video with the best moments of this anniversary.

A special thanks to all the Michelin employees in Spinetta Marengo who responded so enthusiastically to our directions, and to the management who took us round the workshops and offices so that we could explore the company through the video.
