Amapola continues its cooperation with the Alessandria Confindustria industrialists association, with a special focus on video services.
The most recent activity was on 19 January, for the conference “The small manufacturers’ view of the recovery: towards new growth without boundaries“, organised in Alessandria by the Small Manufacturers Committee of Confindustria Alessandria together with the Small Manufacturers Committee of the Industrialists Union of the Province of Asti.
After the debate on the new models for the development of a corporate culture among small manufacturers and the critical factors that continue to make life difficult for businesses, a video produced by Amapola was projected, with interviews with a number of entrepreneurs from Alessandria and Asti: Francesco Barberis (Carlo Barberis – jewellery), Francesca Fasolis (Fa.Re. – building and road construction), Roberto Roveta (Italvalv – industrial valves), Enrica Pronzato (Ucic – paints and decorations), Mauro Arione (Arione – wines and spumante) and Luigi Serra (Serra – confectionery).
The video was shot by videomaker Lucio Laugelli.

The conference was opened by Luigi Buzzi, president of Confindustria Alessandria, and by Tiziano Maino and Andrea Amalberto, Small Manufacturers presidents of, respectively, Confindustria Alessandria and Confindustria Asti.
A lively round table was moderated by Sebastiano Barisoni, deputy executive editor of Radio24. Thought-provoking contributions came from Alberto Baban, national president Small Manufacturers Confindustria, Marco Giovannini, chairman and CEO of the multinational Guala Closures S.p.A. and Enrico Morando, Deputy Minister for the Economy & Finance.
Everyone stressed the need for a corporate model able to change rapidly in order to adapt to the current economic and business uncertainty and unpredictability, without losing critical success factors by downsizing.

Entrepreneurs and economists had already met to discuss the future of corporate Alessandria in November, when, as part of the national initiatives of the XIV Corporate Culture Week, Confindustria Alessandria organised a conference entitled “+30 – Possible developments – A multi-agent simulation to identify evolutionary scenarios over the next 30 years in the province of Alessandria”.
At that event, the results were presented of a study conducted by professor Giuseppe Russo of Step Ricerche and head of the Einaudi Centre, as reported on our website, and Amapola edited the video material on the opinions of Italian citizens about the economy in the Alessandria area and policies to promote growth.
