Amapola Returns to the CSR and Social Innovation Fair: Embracing This Year’s Challenge to “Confront Contradictions”

For the 2024 edition, we’ll be moderating panels, supporting projects for younger generations, and participating in cultural talks.

It’s that time of year again! We’re getting ready for the CSR and Social Innovation Fair, Italy’s premier event dedicated to sustainability, where businesses, institutions, the nonprofit sector, researchers, cultural figures, younger generations, and sustainability enthusiasts all come together. This year’s theme, “Confronting Contradictions,” pushes us to dive into the complexities of modern life, build bridges between diverse needs and visions, find common ground, and face the sometimes challenging aspects of sustainability head-on. Will you join us in Milan, at Bocconi University, from October 9 to 11, 2024?

    This panel will look at the interaction between young people and established businesses, drawing insights from the “Meet the CSR Leaders” initiative (see below), and highlighting the fresh perspectives and ideas that can emerge from these encounters.

Bringing Back Meet the CSR Leaders 2024

An event you won’t want to miss: “Meet the CSR Leaders” is back! This initiative, a collaboration between the Fair and Amapola, is designed to bridge the gap between the next generation and sustainability professionals. Aimed at university students with a passion for sustainability, the program guides them through orientation sessions that offer a look at career paths in this field!

Presenting “Where Facts Don’t Reach”

For those who’ve been following us, you’ll know that this year saw the release of a new book on environmental communication by our own Sergio Vazzoler and Stefano Martello, published by Pacini Editore. Titled Where Facts Don’t Reach, this book completes a trilogy focused on the crucial role of environmental communication in driving the ecological transition. Featuring contributions from 34 authors who explore 50 topics, the book will be discussed in one of the Fair’s panels on October 11 at 3:00 PM. Joining the editors will be our friend and colleague Eliana Lanza from Favillae.
