“Do or do not. There is no try.” This iconic quote from the Star Wars saga inspired the title of Amapola’s 2024 Impact Report. A symbolic choice, yes — but also a deeply political one, reflecting our belief in turning intention into action, theory into responsibility.

Time, Flexibility, Protection: People at the Core
For us, sustainability starts with care — for the people who make our work possible. In 2024, we strengthened our internal policies on well-being and equity:

30 hours of paid leave per year for employees with caregiving responsibilities

37 hours of training per person over the year
And one choice we’re especially proud of: redistributing part of the company’s profit equally to every person in the team. A meaningful gesture of trust, shared responsibility, and recognition.

Our Environmental Impact
Our commitment extends to the environmental dimension as well. In 2024, we calculated our Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions — including those related to commuting — and promoted sustainable everyday practices: responsible purchasing, waste management, resource use, and mindful digital behavior.

Why Sci-Fi?
