Fit4benefit: impact exercises for the Torino Social Impact benefit companies

Meeting up, sharing experiences and expertise, joining forces to multiply impact. Amapola’s journey with Torino Social Impact continues with the Fit4benefit: impact exercises cycle, a networking and training initiative for the association’s benefit companies.

The Torino Social Impact benefit companies

The sharing and discussion project for the benefit companies of the Torino Social Impact association is a grassroots initiative that began in early 2022, at the request of the entities in the Turin-based network. After three itinerant meetings and an initial analysis of the group’s needs and expectations, we have been involved, together with 3 other players, in the planning of a structured program for 2023.

We can’t wait for the program to begin! On Friday 27 January we kick off the cycle of meetings with the first workshop, which will look at stakeholder engagement.

The Fit4benefit program

The impact exercises are organised as a pathway covering inter-related issues of core importance for benefit action. After the stakeholder engagement meeting managed by Amapola, FL20 STUDIO STP BENEFIT will look at reporting, Futura Law Firm will examine common benefit objectives and Synesthesia will close the cycle with a meeting on communication. The meetings will be a mixed laboratory: after an initial theoretical examination of the subject, a second part will see the direct involvement of the participants. Then, to share the experiences of the group and move from theory to practice, each workshop will discuss two case studies selected from among the TSI benefit companies.

The Amapola meeting

How do you identify external stakeholders? What strategies can be used to engage them and involve them in the organisation’s projects? And how can internal stakeholders be engaged? How do you encourage participation? What are the various engagement tools?

After an introduction on the subject, the workshop participants will be able to try out a number of facilitation tools during a guided simulation. The stakeholder engagement experiences of two Torino Social Impact benefit companies will close the meeting.
