Amapola ha aderito all'UN Global Compact

Supportare il network ci permette di mettere a sistema il nostro agire sui temi di sostenibilità.

The need to keep up with the latest changes in sustainability and to do so at a global level in order to guide clients and partners on their development and reporting journeys are the reasons that led us to join the UN Global Compact, the world’s most extensive corporate strategic sustainability initiative. An important network, whose values and objectives we share, to which we hope to make our own active contribution.

The Global Compact currently has more than 20,000 business participants from 160 countries, including 510 Italian organisations. The members of the UNGC undertake to make continuous progress on the Ten Principles of the UN Global Compact relating to human rights, labour, environment and anti-corruption, and on the United Nations’ 17 Sustainable Development Goals.

“Joining the UN Global Compact gives us the opportunity to exchange views with partners of excellence in an international setting and to continue strengthening our total commitment to sustainability. Amapola identifies completely with the UN Global Compact’s Ten Principles,” comments agency founder Luca Valpreda.

Having joined the Global Compact’s Italian network, Amapola will undertake to:

  • make the UN Global Compact and its Ten Principles an integral part of its strategies, day-to-day operations and organisational culture;
  • incorporate the UN Global Compact and its Ten Principles into its decision-making;
  • support the objectives of the United Nations, including the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs);
  • report annually to its stakeholders on the progress achieved in implementing the Ten Principles, through reports or public documents on the Communication on Progress Platform, as from 2025;
  • promote the development of the UN Global Compact and responsible business practices through active support and raising the awareness of partners, clients, consumers and all stakeholder organisations.
